Another new post before I get back to reproducing some old blog posts – the next ones are rather long and I’m finding the prospect a bit daunting to be honest – so I thought I would pick a subject that I have done on a number of occasions since mid-2012 to varying degrees of success – flowers.

A little more specifically I like to do close up shots, possible only containing a portion of the bloom sometimes just a close in view with other items around, but you will see this as we go along through the photos.

I’m not going to add any more text until the end. I’m hoping the flowers will speak for themselves.

All photos were taken with my Fujifilm HS20EXR apart from the last two photos which were both taken with a Fujifilm X-E2.

There have been many more attempts but I think these have been my favourites to date, I dare say there will be lots more to follow.
